Aaron is excited they have started letting his class check out books from the school library. Every Thursday he gets to pick whatever book he wants to bring home. We go to the public library regularly and get armloads of books, but for some reason this is different for him. Every book he's brought home is about trucks. He really likes the Tonka books. He wanted me to video him reading a book so he could watch the video and "It'll be like the book is reading itself!"
I am so proud of his reading abilities. They haven't tested to see what grade level he's reading at, but I know it's got to be 2nd or 3rd grade level. He can read whatever he wants! Outings are so fun now because he reads everything he sees, often making me stop in a store so he can read something on a box or a sign, and then ask me 15 questions about it. He has such a zeal for learning!

Nicole, that's awesome! Very impressive! Now that he's reading everything, does that mean you avoid certain aisles at the store? ;-)
