Here's a picture to remind myself.
And now this is what she looks like when she sleeps.
*sob*
Isn't it cute how she gathers all her pacis near her? They're her lovies. We try to keep them in the bed or car.
She is growing so much and it is so cute to see her learn so much every day! During her 8th month she popped her first tooth! I finally got a picture of it last week... you'll have to look close but it's there.
She still hasn't figured out crawling, but as I keep saying, it's going to be any day now. She has the coordination to do it, so once it clicks with her that she can, she'll take off.
Last week she had a little learning explosion. (Last week would technically be her 9th month but whatever...I really need to update this blog more often!) She had started waving a couple of weeks ago, then last week she started clapping and blowing kisses. We spent the whole week at the church for the consignment sale, and she was very social with everyone. She loves to get attention and she'll do whatever tricks she can to get everyone to look at her.
I had to capture some video of her cuteness. One of the neatest things to me is that she knows what we're saying. We give commands and she "performs"! On her kisses that she blows, she even tries to make the "mwah" sound, but it comes out more like "bah". It's so amazing to see how she tries to imitate us. What a great reminder for me to be an imitator of God...little eyes are always watching!
"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children, and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." Ephesians 5:1-2
