And finally...a Christmas recap! Christmas Eve first.

What a wonderful Christmas we have had! I just love this time of year. It really summed it up when Aaron said to us, "This is a really fun day for kids!" He and Claire were so excited about Christmas. Almost every night Claire would ask, "Is it Christmas yet?" Aaron got up excitedly every morning to "change the days" on our Christmas countdown.

We started out the festivities with a Christmas gathering with Chris's immediate family on Christmas Eve. The kids just love getting to play with their cousins so they would have had a blast even with no presents. But--presents there were--and lots of them!

Hannah getting to know Emma Kate...

This sweet girl was feeling a little better after one dose of the strong antibiotics she had been prescribed the day before. She had a raging ear infection. Poor thing.

We attempted to get all 6 kids in a picture.

And a family shot.

Allen's sweet family!

Since Hannah was the youngest she got to open the first gift. She was so amazed at all the activity around her, and she loved to dive at the colorful paper. I was so excited she got a toy to call her own! She really didn't have anything at home except a couple of rattles and some rings she was getting bored with.

This face says, "And I can play with this?"

Reed and Nate got Nerf rifles which were a big hit.

Aaron got a Lego set!

This was Claire's FAVORITE gift of the season, I do believe. She has played with it more than anything else.

Fancy Nancy! We love Fancy Nancy!

Uncle Andy sent a box of gifts from Hawaii! Mele Kalikimaka!!

I love this. All dads of girls must play with Barbies, or at least remove them from the packaging.

Hannah was so much happier that day than she had been in a couple of weeks.

Lovin' her Barbie!

Baking cookies with Mimi.

Yes, we do the easy kind!

My sweet freckle-face.

Eating the decorated cookies.

My beautiful girl.

A blackmail picture of Nate and Aaron playing Barbie with Claire. He he he! *evil grin*

And this will be the year that Hannah was the same size as the dog!

Emma got a bear you sew together, and Mammaw had a sweet time helping her with it.

The boys all got their Lego sets at the table and put them together.

Sweet Hannah Rose.

This picture of Claire just makes me laugh. I have no idea what she was doing.

More later...
