My future engineer

There is no doubt in our minds that Aaron is destined to be an engineer. At this stage in his life, he thinks he wants to be a garbage man (his obsession with garbage is an entirely separate entry!). But we know better. He loves to build machines. He comes up with the craziest contraptions! If you give him anything that resembles a string or rope, he will play with it for hours and turn it into all kinds of things.

Just a few days ago he came to me and excitedly said, "Mommy, you have to come to show and town in my room!" I'm pretty sure he meant "show and tell" but I let it slide. "Okay," I said, "let me finish washing dishes." (Keeping it real!) He was so excited to show me his "machine". It was a pully, for you physics experts! He had hooked his carrot jump rope to the hole of his watering can, and ran it over the doorknobs of his closet! He was so proud when he pulled the end for me and the watering can went up!
What a little genious!
