Soccer game number 1

Aaron was so excited to go to his first soccer game Saturday morning, mostly because he wanted to wear the shin guards. When we got to the game, he got his jersey and socks.



The kids got to warm up on the field. He did great when he was one-on-one with the ball!



Goal!


Then the teams lined up for the game. Aaron was so anxious to start!


Then the kids all ran around chasing the ball, and Aaron lost interest pretty quickly. He doesn't like being in big groups of kids.


He did enjoy getting to kick off though.


Then he got knocked down, and that was the end of his soccer career, at least for the day.


In other news, Claire got reunited with her best friend Alexandria, who was sick all week and wasn't at school. When we got there they hugged each other like long lost friends. They wouldn't hug for the camera though--this is the best I got!
