You really have to watch how you ask a question to a 4-year-old. For example:
Me (from the bathroom, with no clock): Aaron, what time is it?
Aaron: It's nine o'clock.
Me (knowing he always just gives the hour): What are the numbers after nine?
Aaron: Ten, eleven, and twelve.
Bwah ha ha!!!
